Late Teen Years Poem by Cece Winters

Late Teen Years

She did something the other night,
that she used to do a lot in her
late teen years.
She missed it so much.
It wasn't the fact that she was looking for
what people would assume.
She was given a lot of attention in this aspect.
She was good at what she did.
Naturally smart and beautiful too - So she's told.
It lightened her up, it made her
confident so naturally.
It made her feel happy, so full of life.
