A very thoughtful poem on the socio-political situation everywhere... Let good sense prevail And bring in a lasting peace. the lines quoted above are the essence of the whole poem...and the good sense has a wider implication, reminding me of Alexander Pope's vision as well in these lines: How vain are all these glories, all our pains, Unless good sense preserve what beauty gains thanks for the poem! ! !

Will the world continue to exist if there is no peace? We all have to play a part in this ongoing process. Even if it begins in our families, communities, even within ourselves. Until we are willing to give up a right and put others first then peace will abound. A very potent write.

Peace treaties are often made, which hardly anyone strives to abide! Peace talks are often held, but they end up as mere farce! Let everyone really feel that peace is liberty in tranquillity! A powerful write! !

Reconcilliation is the key word, nobody seems to understand what reconcilliation means. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.
