Scanty congregation in the church
Empty seats unusual
The result of seasonal migration
Of the Igbos in Nigeria at Christmas
The village is where the action is
Where Christmas booms like no other celebration
But service was still superb today
Praise Sunday of songs and praises
To mark yet another year of survival.

There were few people in church today in the city as many people (Igbos)have travelled to their various villages to celebrate Christmas. Today is the last Sunday of the year 2020.
