Unless we experience the real and intense pain of loss ourselves we cannot understand what another is going through, we continue to encourage abandonment instead of enlightenment. In this way we cannot accept our own suffering nor help another, therefore what is the purpose of our suffering? ? How does one become stronger, courageous, more compassionate or wiser if we cannot learn to accept our trials and sufferings in life. How can we get past it all, will meditating bring the answer?
