sins are many
as stars of sky
as sand of shore
but I know for sure
Your Gate of Mercy
is much bigger, wider
I pray to You
as I was told to be
slowly, humbly, quietly
if You refuse me
who might be
bless me
if good persons
who can pray to You
to whom bad ones beg
I have nothing
just a last prayer
to ask for Your shelter
(dedicated to a great poet at poemhunter, Ravi A)
Very nice and humble...but why 'last' prayer? Pray on...write on.. Chers. Subroto
Dear Siddiqui, This time I think all the poems, you asked for my comments so graciously., are dedications to some great poets in PH. amongst them definitely it's difficult to live without Irish blessings of Madam Marie Shine. You have excelled when you say, ' 'if you refuse me who might be bless me if good persons who can pray to you to whom bad ones beg' This is a unique line of dedication. I agree with you. full marks --Rajkumar
More of your poems show a tendency of emotional surrender to others. This need not be so. We can show our respect but we need not emotionally surrender. This is my view. People are praise worthy but we need not get emotionally bound by the situation. Let us pray for the entire clan of our poets. That is enough.
Nice sincere prayer, but we need to remember that God is all Merciful and listens to everyone's prayer
Allah is more compassionate on us then our mothers whoo birth us, lovely poem dear
Sins are many but they evaporate in the presence of the divine. One holy touch with His heart is enough to set you free, al he asks in return is that you in turn free others of their sins. Angelgreetings from Friesland Boomfriend Ruerd
Prayer always reminds me of 'I am the way the truth and the life'...who are we if we have no God to pray to... fine penning Alf
