Lantern Festival
By William He
Magical lasers emit teds from the mansions,
The bright reds become a glow above the crimson spheres.
The cyberdriving cipher and unburdened by aught,
Its soft hum is a disembodied in a flash.
Videos Sora generated govern our phones.
A constant thrum from space,
Illegible white lettering in the sky.
Ultraviolet looking for neon spots,
The fine angles against the bright,
A captain sails the ship away now.
The sphinx on the stilts,
Lanterns have been blinking in the darkness all night long.
Thousands of tiny light blue butterflies flitting and frolicking,
When my eyes shall be turned to meet them.
Many colourful festive drones are pasted with puzzle.
A contented feeling,
And pasting the veils of secrets new.
Glue puddings when illuminated,
with purity and grace and fly high,
As the flames will never going out.
