By the way I was amazed to see the performance of a mocking bird in the You tube that imitated all the sounds you have described! This poem greatly differ from your usual style, though this also brings a chuckle!

Here you have dealt with a topic of great scientific and human interest.....! We do not know if animals follow a universal language. Of course as we all know, language varies from country to country and from region to region, but there is a language understood by all.... the language of love, the language of hate, sorrow, fear, joy etc! In the same way cats also may be having a language understood by all of them!

Feelings can be communicated in various ways other than a language.If science has come with an answer about the language/languages used by animals? Animals use sound to communicate.I think one animal of a particular herd if taken to a different herd may find it difficult to follow their language or sound.Body language when we are in different emotional state like fear, love or jolly are basically same and can be understood by anybody. An interesting poem- - Thanks for sharing.

I guess the universal language would have to be ' body language'. Anyway from throwing sticks, poking tongues, baring fangs to smiles, grins, and laughs, and who knows who copies who this was an Interesting write that brought me a smile or two.10+
