Ok Andrew, , now bear with me on this one abit, I went to a landfill site the other day and well..it was a terrible sight to the eye i'd admit, but then I had this notion that one day and in the future we may actually start to mine these sites for resourses and perhaps regain lost fuels or materials, , what do you think, , too far from the truth perhaps or closer when seen with a big imagination Eitherway, well done for showing such a poem of our day and hopefully a lesson for our future generations Love duncan X

Great description here Andrew, you have painted it so correctly one can see it clearly in the minds eye. Terrible sight to see. Excellent. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX

I noticed one of these sites (sights! ! !) earlier this week - I think we were travelling west on the M62. Your poem has it exactly right and I agree with your excellent words and images. It is such a shame that our countryside is blighted in this way BUT who is responsible? I only have to turn my head to know that I am a culprit. I am most interested in how you came to choose one of my poems to read. I don't use this facility very often and am not entirely sure how it all works apart from being able to post poems. Lin
