Fingers drawing playful aqua swirls
Bright, beauteous days of blues and whites

It's like an elongated haiku that lends sumptuousness to your natural surroundings. Beautiful!
Funky, musky dead thing scents Lie in swamplike ditches beside the road............more than once, i have followed my nose to a corpse. no, not a human; a possum or woodchuck perhaps. this is a fine selection to again grace one of my/OUR showcases, this time in July 2016. it's been almost a year since last time! :) bri thanks.
I believe that it's your best poem. I enjoyed this poem. Excellent ink! Take my thanks.
Such a peaceful and relaxing poem, with wonderful images. I could feel myself floating and drowsily dozing in the warm sun. From a blue sky to an owl's inquiries, to be able to just relax and enjoy peace for hours, something I've never be able to do. Thank you for such a lovely poem.
Thank you for adding my poem to your showcase Bri! I also corrected my spelling error. Thanks!
D. this will now go into my/our August showcase for PH poets on my PH site. thanks. bri :) see my previous comment, if you care. bri :)
@GB Thanks so much sweetie! I was actually looking out at the lake when I wrote this poem.
Beutiful! Haven't commented much on any poems lately, but this is my favorite. I can even picture what you wrote, clearly in my head! ! I give a 10!
Very attentive to your surroundings. I can just envision the scenery that you so wonderfully described. Reminds of my childhood days when my siblings and I would lie down in the field of broom grasses and watch the clouds and nature all around us. The scents dried flowers and still ponds was amazing. Thanks for the memory.
A very descriptive poem. You have a beautiful mind and a sharp vision.
nothing escapes the poet's eyes and memory...you are observant and expressive in your description! ! !
all the wonders of hiking, boating and camping by the lake. did you bring the marshmallows dear?
This reminds me of a pond I'd go to a lot and just float on my back watching the shape of the clouds change. Brings back a peaceful memory. It is a sin that I was too busy this summer to make more memories like this. Thank you for sharing yours.
Bri, you were visiting Lake Tenkiller, that's amazing! When was this? I WAS probably there. :)
