It's about a lake, and added with metaphors, that conjures a thought provoking verse, well, its water is deprived of freedom, since it cannot go elsewhere, if it concerns a human kind, that's not a scintillating view, a human can become depressed, deprived of freedom, for a long while, man can die. A beautiful poem! Like a bird in a cage, the water surrounded by land on all sides cannot flow freely like a stream or a river. The lake though with enormity of water has restricted movement and is stagnant! Stagnation sets in all lives where the freedom is restricted. A Very meaningful haiku and a sure 10... Rose Marie!
