Lady Upon The Pier, Piano, and Beach Poem by Reynaldo Casison

Lady Upon The Pier, Piano, and Beach

Rating: 5.0

There was a lady,
Upon a pier,
The seagulls knew her well,

There was a lady,
Upon a piano,
Jazz knew her well,

And there was a lady,
Dancing upon the beach,
The honey waves,
Knew her rhythms well,

The lady upon the pier,
Wished she was upon,
A piano,
Feeling jazz,

The lady upon the piano,
Wished she was upon,
The pier,
Feeling the jazz,
Of the warm wind,

The seagulls, jazz,
And the honey waves,
Were just being themselves,

The lady upon the beach,
Wished,
she could dance with the waves,
And moon forever,

They were the same,
And unique,
As the stars in the sky,
The lady upon the pier,
Upon the piano,
Upon the beach,
They were the same,
And unique,
As the stars in the sky
