(The Story behind the Legend is that between 1940 & 1945 three million WW2 personnel sailed through perilous waters to Durban, South Africa, en route to Burma & Mediterranean battlefields. It is beyond my contemplation to emagine such courage, such tenacity and such strength that this woman had. 'Music nourishes the soul' and I'll bet the soldiers were more determined to fight so that such women could continue the song of life in a better world. thanks a million for sharing this.
