wow! nthis poem is so beautiful and has deep meaning.Well expressed.You've portrayed a nice imag in this poem.I love love poems.Everyone like too.So to fall in love also there's no age barriers.may be it's love affair or may be ove friendship.etc..You can give any name for relationships.Yet it cotains Love.Love is the key to open the main door lock.So I would really say you've made a great piece.Good work...L'amour....Tres bien.Superb.! Hi Caitlin - I love Love Poems and this is a gem - I score it TEN. (Lines 1 - 5) This is so so true LOVE is uncontrolled - uncaptured - lawless - unknown. However we all 'fall in Love' so we can't escape the elusiveness of Love. (Lines 6 - 12) Describe the search for love 'But when a guy (or a girl) comes along' our relationship with them enables us to understand more about Love and the search for Mr (or Miss) Right. 'The road of Love to he (or she) who is 'the one'. Do we always look for someone is compatable 'The one - is in so many ways just like you'. I married a local Girl who worked in the same Factory as me so she was (and still is) very compatable. I like the optimism and freedom of the last stanza. 'L'Amour - set it free - he (she) will find you - it is meant to be'. In my experience there should be no age barrier to love - so I love the line 'No matter how old or young - it is love'. Caitlin - The great message in your lovely poem is that there should be NO BARRIERS put in the way of two people who are genuinely in love. So many marriages 'Made in Heaven' have never been consumated on Earth because of oppositions by families of race - colour - religion - age - finance - politics etc. Your poem suggests we should just go with the flow - awesome.
