Its sad that with all the progress human civilization comes, we still respond in the most base and heinous acts of tribalism, stratification and ethnic centrism, still with voices like yours given voices to those ignored, the true greatness of humanity is revealed. My favorite part and the one with the most power that hits me is the third and fourth lines of your second Their Stolen Generation grows and lives in disgrace. Sometimes, they die in search for another dwelling place. in the cold harsh light, this states exactly the plight of refugees, should be read to those who live in blind ignorance of their lives.

This poem is a gift to humanity. It expresses the humane view of life in which we are all our brother's keeper. It important we poets show we support justice and protest persecution. Your fourth line refrain is especially painful to contemplate.
