Kumbha advised his brother to stop war and surrender. Ravana refused to listen. Reluctantly Kumbha entered the war field but waskilled by Rama......a precious write carrying wisdom! Thanks for sharing.....10

Such mythological characters like Kumbakarna are so very entertaining! I think Rip Van Winkle immortalized by Washington Irving is the counterpart of Kumbhakarna! However you have revived in me the epic tale of Ramayana! Interesting poem!
