what a joy when we have the experience- and the moment or moments that provide it- to meet a person heart-to-heart, someone who is guided by love and good will. thank you, bharati, for this thought, for your heart. -glen

a bit too cryptic or symbolic or unreal for me to know who or what this is referring to. but it sounded good. bri :)

Your closing lines - I KNEW YOU LONGER THAN MYSELF - are priceless. What generosity of spirit they show toward the person addressed! This an expression of trust, even of love that expresses deep emotion in a fresh way. And when a poet finds a new way to express a very old emotion, her or his sincerity is obvious and enhances the meaning of the words. There is a quiet tone of delight which runs through this poem, as if the speaker can hardly believe she has indeed found her soul mate. But your words convince me these two people have indeed found their common happiness. This is a blessed poem.

Every one, everything seems strange at the beginning Then, we try to know them Once we know them well we start to see us in them And there a part of us starts melting…. A well written and well expressed poem with a profound meaning in it. Thanks for sharing!

love of empathy is crux of relation in between known and unknown even if known with no light of love to curve a shadow is still unknown as when unknown bounces to bolster stemming tide to hold love yet very reason does verge to spur a bond to turn unknown to known, while knowing each other to know, like earth looking on to sun when interplay acts on to drive a reek of distinction to draw a curve of tangent by touch, wonderful write, yet compelling, inspiring too to spell hello...10+, thanks for sharing

Sometimes while we gradually 'discover' another person, we gradually start to 'feel' that person and she or he becomes an essential part of us... Empathy is the most crucial and rarely found virtue in human beings nowadays.. But sometimes it's good NOT to be an empath when the one we conncect with is a charlatan, which, happens a lot with empaths... A very, if I may say, carefully and beautifully crafted poem Bharti.. Thank you for sharing...

There is universality in human emotions! When we see somebody thinking and behaving as we do, we are moved to surprise and we feel that they are our duplicate! Naturally we feel a special affinity towards them! A sweet write, Bharati!
