Knock In Heart You Holy Bell
As this moment of holiness has arrived,
Priests and devotees are praying before,
At this early morning we are hearing,
Holy Spirit dignifies each vibration,
After few hours dawn will break sure,
Purity will be sprinkled all over sky,
Priest in beautiful big temple is singing
Ringing the big holy bell in the holy wall,
Souls are conveying their thoughts of love.
Oh dear Holy Bell of early morning temple,
You knock in heart to open up conscience,
Let our devotion flow like our Great River,
Let us meet each other for keeping promise,
A full moonlit day is going to end soon
And a new sunrise we shall see today,
Oh dear Holy Bell you vibrate more,
Take our thoughts up to our God,
We have lit early morning candle,
Let it glow with bright flame,
You go on knocking inner heart
Until the final bright awakening,
You knock in heart dear Holy Bell,
We are singing morning prayer.

As we hear the tolling of bells from neighboring temples and churches early in the morning, our hearts are raised up to God in prayer! It is a beautiful time for prayerful contemplation! A beautiful write!

On this day we take bath in river or ponds at early dawn, float decorative paper boats or boats made of banana tree skin with lighted candles seated on them in river streams or pond water.Then we go visiting the temples, ring the temple bells and offer puja before the dieties.This day is a holi day for us. A beautiful prayer you offer through this poem.
