I grew up with winding up the Victrola and listening to a a deep-voiced man reading or reciting knee-deep in June about the time.. Finally, one person, suspect I asked hundreds of people over many years, about that knee deep in June record - and he knew the name of the author. That remembrance brings to my mind of my childhood and Grandma
that was amazing it really had that feeling....the one you have when u like something and i really liked that
Terrific stuff! I guess being son of an attorney this is not his natural accent, but maybe he spoke both fluently. He makes you feel you are lying there with him looking up and around at what he is seeing, and enjoying his wit.
Prolific poetic expression regarding the significance of June in something wonderful to read!

I can certainly identify with Mr. Riley's thoughts here. In this fast-paced time we suffer in today there is precious little time to just lay back and rest and enjoy the moment. Loved the poem.
