Though time has changed its face into all updates and new era, but flying kites we do so now and then, it is like fishing along the river, catching to never eat the fishes we caught, but despite modern times, we do go fishing so now and then, it is precisely like reading poetry, gives the person much ease and peace. This time you present the great festivities in Katak city, mind you, the second largest city in the eastern Indian state of Odisha. As usual in most Indian cities, when there are festivities, kites will go in the air always, it is so celebrative indeed. Pintu, you bring a Holy Ode to this thousand years old famous city of Odisha, Katak. I prefer to use the name of Katak, it sounds more natural in my foreign ears. this is no rebelling of me, never! I feel the celebrations in this poem through your wonderful descriptive scenes, Pintu. Oriental cities are like that, their citizens make friendships eventhough they are living in one of the largest cities in the eastern Indian state of Odisha. I am comparing it with the westeuropean countries. Suddenly I remember Rudyard Kipling´s famous Quote: East is east and west is west and never the twain shall meet....To my opinion, this quote is true obsolete quote, since RK lived in an entire different era than we, his literature was written from a colonnial point of view...ah let me not walk away from your abundant celebrations. Most fascinating read, Pintu, my grand compliments.

This is so beautiful! Yes each place has a special thing, own particularity that could help so many people learn more about each other and tie such wonderful friendships. If I could travel, Cuttac would certainly be one of the places I would want to go first. Who would not love a kites coulored sky?
