Kissing A Persona Poem by Eillio Imbasciati

Kissing A Persona

So serious about that which is absurd,
Emerging from rooms taking it all in at face value,
Believing only in propaganda for the mild
Thinking he can outsmart any cause,
He misses the point entirely
His history plays host to moments that are fast and loose with his philosophies,
Kissing a persona that doesn't kiss him back
Too afraid of heights and agendas to truly be effective,
So he runs in a holding pattern,
Gripping to sanity with what remains of the nails on his fingers
