King Of The Elks Poem by DM W

King Of The Elks

Bill's got some new antlers
For the world to admire.
Not content with the biggest yacht,
And the most beautiful wife,
He's now got himself a mansion on the hill.
I guess he'll pay the servants peanuts,
As they polish his vast array of trophies,
And cater to his every whim.

I guess he'll cosy up to the plutocrats,
And buy himself some tax relief;
By giving nobly to charity; and appease them
By turning a blind eye to their dirty wars.

Yes Bill's got some new antlers.
He thinks he's king of the elks.
Now he's climbed the proverbial ladder,
I hope he falls and breaks his god damn neck!
