King And Queen Poem by michael Smajda

King And Queen

If I were a king
In need of a queen,
This I would not hesitate to do.
I would scour the kingdom
For a maiden as fair
And one as beautiful as you.

Having found such a lass
By my throne she would reside
For as long as the Lord above
Saw fit for me to reign
As king and queen
I would adore with all my love.
