it is good to be good
kindness is the most
precious gift given

kindness reassures the empty heart
nourishes the sore troubled mind
fortifies downtrodden broken spirit

uplifts an exhausted body
shares heavy life burdens
laughs in the face of adversity

kindness can be as little as a spoken kind word
kindness can be as little as an encouraging smile
kindness helps us to sustain run an extra mile

kindness can mend a previously broken day
kindness can drive tears heartbreak away
kindness can bestow a world of difference
