Killing Poetry Poem by Panagiota Romios

Killing Poetry

Rating: 5.0

How small can we create a poem?
Small as a button or a well-worn stone?

Is is technocracy or what?
That drives us to such dire, poetic perfidy?

Perhaps one of only commas?
We'd all comment, "oh such fantastic, sensitive drama! "

Full use of English, or Francais to name but a few.
We avoid them like a disease, or am I off cue?

I don't know if it's the desire to win a trophy or what?
It just seems killing the languageis the meanest cut,
