Killing For The Flavour Of Your Tounge Poem by Tulsi Shrestha

Killing For The Flavour Of Your Tounge

Rating: 5.0

Why do you feed on flesh of animals & birds
When so many alternatives available for you.
Vegetables, fruits, grains and milk are enough
To satisfy your surge of hunger and thirst.
Carnivorous animals like tiger, leopard and lion
Can't survive without killing other animal.
Philosophy of their lives linked with violence.
But intellectual creature like us, human
Needn't have to kill anyone to satisfy hunger
Just for the flovour of tounge.
What is the use of our sensitivity and creativity!
No trace of compassion and pity inside you.
You are committing unforgivable sin.
When we feed on flesh of living entities,
Inhibiting right of living of innocent animals.

This is an insightful piece of poetry! I find your works are often loaded with wisdom but I wonder many of your beautiful poems don't find readers because here you will find more writers less readers! Whatever may be the case, Please keep it up!
