So many young people
upset!
When they go to school
to learn
they don't want to get
gun-downed!
When they come to class
they don't want no killer
coming around
When they go to school
they are tired
of getting gun-downed!
they're speaking up
taking action!
they want to stop
so much of their blood
being shed
too many of their friends
and families already dead!
all these children
say is something
just has to change
when they come to class
they don't want to face
no killer
or hear no gunfire sound!
they are just saying
when they come to class
the come to learn
they don't want to get gun-downed!
