And all this without alcohol! This one takes me back to plates bursting with cocktail frankfurts 'we always referred to them as little boys' and the inevitable tomato sauce; a carpet strewn with meringue (it's amazing just how far four eggs and a cup of sugar will go) . And from what I remember the guest of honor invariably had the worst time. Your 'Kiddies Party' is delivered with great wit and a skillful choice of language. You're quite a comedian, Steve. And quite a poet, too. Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Brilliant! You have captured the event admirably. They are an ordeal to get through. The sighs of relief when all have disappeared from view. Hilarious write. Smarties anyone? ? ? ? You might enjoy my poem 'A Family Christmas' page 2 or 3 I think. A grown up party, sort of! ! ! ! ! Thanks for this wonderful humour. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX
How do you do it Steve? - - of course we will never know but you do it so stylishly - - every time - - - another winner for me..... thanks for the smile.... Fay
