Kerala On The Edge Of Disaster

Kerala is hit
rains-pushed, on the edge, is life
it is all God's writ
threat of disaster, is rife
whom to blame? there is much strife

disasters occur
causing much distress and loss
and we all concur
life should not go for a toss
right now, this bridge let us cross

It is true that half of the calamity was man made.... of reckless handling and thoughtless planning! However Kerala has surmounted that devastating situation through concerted efforts from all sides. If Keralites had learnt a lesson through it, I would say, the suffering the flood brought about was productive. A beautiful analysis of the situation!
