Part 3. Then we have another Spring, almost coinciding with the Spring in the entire Northern Hemisphere, March -April. We have another Spring Festival in April, . It is named Vishu. Nearly at the same time as Bihu of North-East and Easter, celebrated by the Christian Community.

Part 2. Those outside Kerala may not be able to relate to this fact: In kerala, we have two Springs. One, now-in August-September. And it coincides with Onam. The Spring -harvest Festival

A great feeling of nostalgia. Flowers everywhere. In the childhood, the cultivation of flowers was not rampant and we never had shops selling flowers. For all the pookkalams on all the ten days, we had to hunt flowers in our yards and outers
