Grand piece of work here, Duncan. I love anything about knights and the fight for truth and freedom. Your brilliant use of imagery sets the stage for this wonderful tale, and it is pure magic! I certainly enjoyed the read - thank you for this lovely poem! Linda
wow.. this poem is very deep, , , and to realize its true essence, it needs to be read more than once.. in many cases more than twice, because many of the lines have a deeper meaning. i remember the part where it said keep your aim in sight.. and i believe the next part was sever the dark of light..or something similar to that.. for different people that could mean a variety of diff. things but 4 me it stood 4 standing strong, and keeping your ambitions, goals, & your wants at hand and focusing on them in the darkest of hours.. lots of love Debbie: -) p.s. keep writing never ever stop expressing the way of the world in your view
Duncan I just felt so chocked when I read this poem because I fought with knights of old and met damsels in distress, so many images here I just love your work. cheers Sylviex
