the lucky few who have some
are keeping vigil at home
as, once gone, what else, than to mourn?

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
There is n acute onion crisis in India. Onion is desperately needed by majority of Indians for their daily breakfast, lunch and dinner. This year due to unprecedented rains onion crop has failed.Now price has shot upto 2 USD per kg in most towns and cities. Usual price is about 30-40 cents per kg.
onion is being stolen by attention diverters.This is the latest trend.
