A beautiful poem. Liked the reply of the soul: 'The adorers of you beauty won't exist Nor those who are ready to die for you Neither would your love Nor your lovers survive for ever'. A wonderful poem....top score!

The soul of the heart, soul of the mind, the soul of the beauty inside, the body without the soul to guide, is next to impossible to seek/find true light! .. Searching the heart of the soul, beautifully expressed! ..

Hi Nayanika, A very poignant and philosophical poem by talented poet Kavita Singh. I am obliged to you for reading this attempt of mine to render it in English..The good words are actually due to Kavita.

Physical beauty is of no value after death, it's the soul which exists..once inner beauty is counted after death.yes beauty of soul

This is a great philosophical write by Kavita. She deserves the appreciation of yours, which I'd convey to her.

You give yourself too little credit, my friend. Certainly the thoughts of the poet are very wise but it is also true that your rendering of it in English is very praiseworthy too. I'm embarking on a series of translations of a Chilean poet from Spanish and I hope I can produce something comparable to your fine work.

Thank you for writing of my efforts. Your interest to translate: Yes! Please do. All of us on ph will be delighted to read them. I for one, do not read Spanish. So, from now on, I am keeping my fingers crossed... Thanks Tom..

Hi Susie, No doubt, this is a good poem, the original one by Kavita. But translation is very poor shade of it, I know. But I just wanted to introduce Ms Kavita Singh's poems to poets like you, who do not follow Hindi. That is why I took the risk. Very glad, you liked the poem. And the credit goes to Kavita.

A profound piece. Verily soul is the true identity of man. Body is merely a mask, a material representation. Soul is the essence of being. A perfect 10.
