In those narrow pathways

Thank You, Mr Roy. Happy that you enjoyed the translation. Please read the original in Hindi.
Wow very touching and strong feeling. I am a story untold and left incomplete
Beautiful work Sir, thanks for sharing. However some how I feel there is a little more of depth in Kavita Singh poem that is yet to captured in translation (may be it is cause of the just the choice of words that you preferred) : -) Main 'musafir' hu un 'galiyon' ki.. jiski 'manjil' anjani hai... jise 'likha' nhi.... 'khuda' ne pura... main 'uski' adhuri ek 'kahani hu..
Very True Ashika. My vocabulary is definitely my constraint...
A lovely poem. We are all wanderers walking to an unknown goal
A succinct gem. A sense of incompleteness, of emptiness conveyed so effectively in so few words. Kudos. Every person feels that way at times but not everyone can put it into words. A big 10.
A nice poetic imagination, Unnikrishanan. You may like to read my poem, Love and Lust. Thanks..

I am totally enamored of this piece. Succinct, simple, and yet opens a world of compassion and empathy for her as well as ourselves. We are all on a journey to finish ourselves, complete ourselves. Excellent choice of poem to translate, my friend. I thank you very very much. I know I commented earlier but I really like reading this over and over and musing on its style and grace..,
Hi Susan, It is a matter of ultimate pride that you want to read this poem over and over. That you have revisited it. You have chosen to comment again on this little but, beautiful poem. Of course, all the praises are due to our dear friend, talented poet Kavita. Kavita has lent a tinge of Indian philosophy to this poem. But your comments transcended my understanding, my thoughts about it. These words of yours are dear to me: We are all on a journey to finish ourselves, complete ourselves. Excellent choice of poem to translate, my friend. Deeply obliged, Susie. -unnikrishnan
Such emotion of deep sentiments written with such depth. Wonderful poem of Kavita, most beautifully translated by Unnikrishnan. Dear, dear friend, thank you for sharing. A full vote for you! :)
Hi Geeta, Of course, this poem is very beautifully and emotionally rendered by Kavita. I have tried an English version. Not confident that I have done justice in it. Thank you Geeta for your benevolence in your comments.
I am a story yet untold That God has left incomplete... meaningful and sentimental write. Thank to dear Kavita for composition and you, dear Unnikrishnan, for translation.
I like the musing tone of this piece by Kavita. There is a lot of power in subtlety, we should all try it more often because she is proving its worth. And thank you, my gentle friend, for translating her so so lovely work. There is an ocean of delightful poetry I would never enjoy if it wasn't for you. You are PH's finest friend! ! ! !
Thank you Susan. This is a lovely poem by our talented friend Kavita and my effort was to introduce it to all the discerning poets on ph. And I am deeply obliged to you Susie for all the good words about me. Your words encourage me to attempt more..
very relatable, a meaningful translation by Ms. Singh, thank you for sharing!
