Hi Rini, If you read Hindi, please read the original poem by Kavita. I believe that I have not been able to do justice to the lovely poem of my dear friend... Thank you..

So far, yet so close - A lovely poem by Kavita Singh translated beautifully. Enjoyed reading it. Should read the original as well by Kavita. For such a generous and nice poet, happy to vote full 100!

Hi Geeta, Thank you for reading this translation of the lovely poem by Kavita. I do not think it has measured up to the beauty of the original. But thank you very much. If you enjoyed it, the credit should go to Kavita..

Thank you sir.. Deeply obliged. But this poem is a translation of the poem by Ms Kavita Singh. So the credit goes to her. I am not sure that I have risen upto her exquisite poem. And, my knowledge of both English and Hindi is limited. For, neither is my mother tongue. But this poem started to haunt me right from the first time read it. So I had to read it many times and then, put it in English for the benefit of the non-Hindi audience on ph... Thank you sir once again.... And Kavita, are you listening? ? ? ? ? ? ?
