Kathakali 1- the Spectacular Dance Drama Of Kerala
Kerala throbs with the pulsating rhythm of
Kathakali - A dance drama throbbing with
Magnificent colours of life and legends of the
Mahabharata and Ramayana!
A large ensemble of characters,
Amazing Gods and Goddesses,
Astonishing kings and heroes,
Assembled together on the temple stages!
They have come down to the earth,
To express myriad expressions through 'Mudras',
Through emotions of high intensity,
Through dynamic rhythm of 'Chenda' and 'Maddalam'!
The spectators are transported into
This spectacular world of dance drama,
Where truth is the ultimate winner,
Where goodness triumphs over evil!
Kathakali is one of my favourite dances. Kerala is well know for it. You have given us brief knowledge about this dance.
