Karanja Tree Poem by Upendra Majhi

Karanja Tree

Rating: 5.0

I saw the karanja tree, All trunks, branches in black
Bereft of leaves, I Watched it grow green leaf by leaf,
Till it was full and covered. How long I did not visit
Iam not aware,
But today.it is an exuberarent bloom, that surprised me,
As if a floral avalanche had flown and blown on the tree,
What could be the clue,
Nonchalant girl and her equal nonchalant smile? ,
At the store it could be,
ThatI am a long absentee.
Floral torus, numbering three, sorrounded the flower tree,
Flowers fell on roof of PZA, On her tress,
On the earth, on marble circular chairs,
On Pza chair and table, where
We used to sit and sip tea,
It fell of a mild breeze or a drone bee
There were swarming bees,
It being theirdelicacy,
Thousand were there but no one in sight they be,
Every flower was occupied by one or two bees,
But no one, one could see,
The iconicamong all trees,
Atevery breath shedflower and buds,
Men trampled on them,
if know all secrets of these,
you arecalled a cogniscenti
