Kabir, They Won't Understand Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Kabir, They Won't Understand

Who are but conservative, theocratic,
Orthodox and blind to their faiths,
They won't
Who know it not the Truth
The zealots, faithfuls, fundamentalists

Your philosophy,
Your philosophy of Rama and Rahima
Which but took you to your comprehension,
Which but you none the else

Your mysticism,
Obstruse mysticism and theology,
Comprehension of orphic mysteries
Leadfing to a synthesis,
An amalgamation of mystic incongruities
And reversely meaningful statements
Opening our eyes

But how many of us read you,
Understood you,
Comprehended your verse,
Your correctional standpoint,
Confrontational stance,
Mystic encompassing,
Theological incorporation,
Your large heart and mind
In which dwelt it Rama and Rahima?

A rebel were you,
A reformer
Ahead of time, ahead of age
In which you were born,
Born
A saint,
A fakir, a workman,
A handloom weaver
But a singer of Rama,
A great singer of Rama
Corroborative of Rama and Rahima,
A great collaborator theological
Relaying the mystique
Through the capsules of wit and conceit,
Knowlwdge and wisdom!
