Juvenile Hearts Caught In Love Jihad. Poem by Sheeya Hacks

Juvenile Hearts Caught In Love Jihad.

Rating: 5.0

In a world paved with danger, their love unfurled,
two juvenile hearts, caught in a whirl.

He was a rebel, with darkness in his soul,
she was his angel, making his heart whole.

Through shadows they danced, their steps filled with grace,
their love a secret, hiding it from the chase.

Whispers in the night, as they planned their escapades,
stealing kisses, committing love's charades.

Hand in hand, they ventured into the unknown,
exploring boundaries where their love had grown.

Together they painted graffiti on city walls,
leaving their mark, as their love eternally calls.

But the law's grip tightened, seeking to divide,
Is a love (jihad) a wrongdoing which they couldn't hide.

She cried tears of sorrow, as the sirens wailed,
how religion stood between their love, to no avail.

He was caught, whisked away in handcuffs and chains,
the courtroom's verdict, his freedom now in reins.

Behind bars, he yearned for her touch, her love,
while she, on the outside, looked to the skies above.

Days turned to nights, months turned to years,
their love, a memory coated in sorrows and tears.

But youth cannot be confined, love cannot be contained,
In letters and whispers, their passion remained.

In the depths of darkness, hope begins to stir,
a second chance, a future they could secure.

His time served, he emerged with a newfound strive,
to reclaim his love, his reason to survive.

Across paths they crossed, their eyes locked in gaze,
their hearts rekindled, like a long-forgotten blaze.

No longer bound by the chains of their past,
they vowed to make a love that would surely last.

Juvenile love and crime, who cares for now,
they are adult and they have countries who welcome with Wow.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I recently read one Story on LOVE JIHAD, though I seldom follow Indian News but this article caught my attention 'Hard-line Hindu conservatives have labeled it 'love jihad' — a conspiracy theory accusing Muslim men of wooing Hindu women to force them to convert to Islam.' I found it something very strange, how can a country that gurantees DEMOCRATIC RIGHTS to its citizen can think and do such inhumane things. Though India's Supreme Court has rejected the theory. But more than half a dozen of India's 29 states have introduced laws banning the use of marriage to push someone into converting. All vote bank politics. Good Luck to INDIA.

There is a Wow-factor in how this couple made it through. But so many are stopped before that. It is very cruel of public opinion to label it this way. I think that often it isn't a deliberate attempt to convert
