Justice Must Be Served Poem by Randy McClave

Justice Must Be Served

Who has ever committed a crime
They must do the time,
No matter if they are rich or poor
We all walk through the very same door.
No matter if they drink beer, water or even 7up
Justice always drinks from the very same cup
In her hand justice also holds the scales
And lawfulness and truth always prevails.
No matter what anyone might believe or say
For the crimes the criminals must always pay,
Just think, if the crime were committed by you or me
A judged we would immediately see.
You and I would then go strait to jail
And we couldn't even afford the bail,
Even if the crime was months or even years ago
True justice shouldn't let no one go.
Justice must always be respected and served
None should be unnerved,
Because if that or any crime is ever forgot
The battle is lost for which our fathers had fought.
I say this once again
If anyone commits a crime which is a sin,
That person who committed a crime should be tried
If not, the words of justice has been denied.
