Just.... one Step at a time Loss and grief can be overcome by what you have asked us to do, and yes, with just...one step at a time. Very well said. Good comments from other poets too.

Ups and downs are there in everyman's life! But to conquer them or reduce their gravity, we can shift our focus from ourselves to others and onto the beauty of Nature or raise our hearts to God! Then we will be able to move forward step by step! Enjoyed! !

just one step at a time is all you can take when grief overtakes your life. But with each new day thing do improve and the sun will shine again. You never really forget.

This succinctly and eloquently describes greif and loss and the gradual and painful path back to what can never again be truely normal, but we all must as we all experience such grief at some time as is the course of life. Well written with compassion and heart.

This here is a perfect description of enduring life's losses, and the pain felt. I loved your beautiful descriptions of natures gifts to us and how we must move on from our own pain. Great poem, Lyn.....thank you.

It does take time to recover from loss, but it is said that time is a great healer. This is true to some extent, but wounds always bear scars. A very philosophical write Lyn, a great read.
