Just Near The Middle Point Poem by Mohammad Younus

Just Near The Middle Point

Rating: 5.0

Just near the middle point -
Qāba Qawseini Aw-Adnā -
Where the two bows meet,
There is to be found,
The lamp of radiant light,
And the soul's orchestra:
Where the wondorous sound,
Sprouts from each pore,
Without striking a chord;
The soul sings in delight...
And effulges so much light...
That the sun and the moon are lost;
Just near this spot is to be found,
The spring of life, called al-Kauthar,
That gushes out the nectar of life,
And makes the drinker immortal;
This is the mysterious valley of Zulumāt,
Where Moses did go with Shamūn,
In search of āb-e-hayāt,
But he missed to have a sip.
