Just Let Me Poem by Dee Gey

Just Let Me

Let me cry a river,
Let me feel the pain,
Let the tears carve channels,
Through my heart's domain.

Let the storm inside me
rage without disguise,
Let my sorrow dance
in these sleepless eyes.

Let me sink in shadows,
Where the ache is deep,
Where the silence speaks-
Secrets of the night I keep.

Let me taste the bitter,
Let me mourn the loss,
For in the grief and sadness,
I'll find what's worth the cost.

Let me weep in darkness,
Let my tears fall free,
For through the pain and heartache,
I'll find what's left of me.
