Just Inside Heaven Comments

There are two passages in this poem that are peak experiences The first is in the second stanza where you incorporate the poem's title with the added grace note of WITHOUT EFFORT - to know heaven is that close and takes no special effort to enter is a blessing. The second passage is the closing sentence NOTHING ELSE MATTERS IN LIFE EXCEPT THESE MOMENTS OF SIMPLICITY AND SPIRITUAL SOLACE. That's beautiful. The number 32 is in my head now. Beethoven at the end of his life wrote for piano 33 variations. Close enough. I'm going to play it! Let the the healing begin, the emotional and intellectual uplifts prevail!
