Just Hoping Poem by Thomas Plotz

Just Hoping

Rating: 5.0

I was waiting and
I didn't know what to say,
After calling you, by the wrong name,

I was asking dumb questions
Just trying to reframe, by
Picture a different name, of

My dream, dark haired PA beauty queen,
Reading my name
On your screen,
I'm just hopeful you're happy too…

I should have said,
How have you been?
How's you're Folks and siblings too?
I still think sometimes of you…

I was staring at your left hand
At all the space in-between
Hopeful you're happy…

My dream, dark haired PA beauty queen,
Reading my name
On your screen,
I'm just hoping your happy too…

I'm just hoping
