A bold poem revealing a sad state of affairs. So many people are hungry and desperate to find ways to feed themselves. Well written.
I've seen this kind of person out preaching...not in front of a brothel, but in front of bars or places that are viewed in a negative social light. Its interesting for you to write your poem from this person's perspective, to give voice to their thoughts. Your imagery of light, dark, and predation are well done. Thanks for sharing your poem.
This is great poetry. A bold, daring exposure of human hypocrisy. Thoroughly absorbing work.
I pine for a ray of light I strive to go out of it Using all my might I don’t know where to go you yearn for a world where golden rays only penetrate. very nice moral thinking. thank you my dear Poet. tony
Wow! Powerful with reality stark and so sad that these women have to sell their bodies for food. You look for a light, you look for hope but instead you look at a new world where justice of no poverty rules! Brilliant write!
Likes this bold penning about those women who at last are forced to sell their loving bodies to the beasts for fulfilling their hunger of their own belly or of keens. This modern world, said to be civilized looks so blankly.
Very wonderful drafting shared here really with interesting vision that comes in your mind. A thought provoking poem shared here...10
Just For Few Rupees is a good satire poem. It is said even not to live in the same street where the whores live.
This poem is worth reading... an astounding work of art. Each stanza is written with special care. Thank you for posting such a gem.
I wonder how these women can look to survive this. Everything has a price. Why sell your virtue? A good poem with a point to make Thankyou.
I make no judgments but I can understand the basis for this wonderfully written piece. Thanks, Shakil
Wow! A really 'bold' poem that reminded me of Baudelaire's Au Lecteur and the lines that suggest that our souls are not bold enough - 'C'est que notre âme, helas! n'est pas assis hardie' - 'It's because our souls, alas! are not bold enough' - a brilliant and brave write Shakil...
amazing poetry........wonderful expression............... moral message......... stay blessed
