Just Disappearing Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Just Disappearing

Looking at blinds shutting out nature beyond the window,
feeling shut off from life, it's just not the same any
more.

Finding pleasure in writing, music and art, but yearning
to go camping, fishing, walking and backpacking, to exist
outside these four walls.

Thinking at times to just disappear into the wilderness
alone and unafraid, that's where this poetical soul feels
most at ease and serene.

A place nearer to God that can be called my own, where
everything can be expressed and understood thoroughly
in the peace and quiet of this interior soul and spirit.
