Just Another Pawn In Their Game: (Inspired By Bob Dylan)

Rating: 5.0

You are a code; just another number
For crude, institutional amusement.
You may have served your Queen and country well,
But be warned you'll never change anything.
Not a jot. For in the insidious
Eyes of the powers that be and all their
Minions you're regarded as mere pawns
In a perverse, political chess game.
I hope you awaken to the Light one day,
Because you and I deserve so much more.

Excellent poem about the corruptness of political power. Dylan would be proud, Dominic.

There is a word yet again PH has ridiculously deleted from my previous comment the word p a w n. As in.... from p a w n to King we all return to the same box. What next the word ridiculously for having the word d i c in it.! ! !

At first I thought I was reading the intro to The Prisoner starring Patrick McGoohan and then bang on Dominic! It says it how it is in the higher echelons of power, the 'you can't make an omelette without cracking a few eggs' and the old age of 'The greater good.' 10+ and deserved. These people forget... from to King we all return to the same box.
