Soran, you are right! ! ! Just because we do some things daily is no reason to let them go all hum-drum over our life! ! We can take charge and fill our lives with more adventure. I'm glad you found fun and value in my verse! Thank you! ! !

True, may be this is part of the daily routine but on the other hand it is so good poem as well, meanwhile the adventure is an important part in the poets' experiences as Arthur Rimbaud did, we can touch here poetic soul of the poet, it is fabulous masterpiece of work, well done and have a big 10 and into my treasure chest.

Women are sometimes more adventurous than men and they plunge headlong into risky feats. Probably Joe must be more cautious and more practical not to run into any risk! Really enjoyed your adventurous ride!

I think most of the people in their fifties and above have problem in driving at night. Many drivers coming from the opposite direction won't have the courtesy to dim their lights and the glare of the headlights blind our vision. For fun, sometimes I too have taken the chance of driving at night.

I love this one, Susan. I don't why, but Thelma and Louise came to mind. Maybe the language? Maybe the imagery? I can just see Harvey Keitel on that ridge. A perfect 10.

Refreshing humour, and I think we can do with some humour in our poems, which often tend to be too sentimental.

Hey I know just how your cowboy feels! I consider myself the greatest driver. Snow, ice, dark, darting deer, ghetto streets, two tracks and driving rain, thick fog and roaring traffic it's all the same to me. So long as I AM DRIVING. Went to Yellowstone with my boy. Let him drive, with one of my wide eyes looking forward and the other judging the cliff's invitation to certain death!

hey, susan! hoping this finds you well in all ways. on this poem, at this point in my life i detest (perhaps a bit strong of a word but close) driving at night. i found out late in life i am generally sensitive to glare, and the glare of oncoming lights—oy! and yet, in less than an hour we'll be going out and driving in the dark to see a movie. oh well. be blessed! -glen
