Just a leaf it can dry and fall but hopes there can give a spring bloomed in flowers and colors.. You write at ease in a few line-wonders I can say. 10 ++ Rema

Simple words, yet complex issues in this revealing poem in which the symbolism of the leaf carries with it is weighted with a myriad of un answered questions, revelations and desires upon which the narrator ponders. Strong imagery here Onelia....finely crafted. j xx

This poem has something of the haiku feel, without its rigid structure. Understated and uncluttered, your words tell of desire and dreams and just a little guilt. The yellow leaf is a perfect metaphor and your final lines leave the reader wondering... Whimsical penning. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

so big a poem this short one is, on expressions of finer emotions! a leaf ever green, stayed put to your lips, ever not falling...be it autumn or spring... very good one onelia!

Possibly your best poem...until the next one! The imagery is beautifuly worked into the poem and is so startling and yet so simple. It haunts the imagination in its beauty and orginality. You never cease to surprise by what your mind elects to observe and how well it puts a feeling into words. love Donall Donall

whoa...excellent work here onelia.......you have such an original mind... i never would have thought of this....the imagery of love being a tree, and a leaf falling off of it as adultery fantasies abound is a great idea...the contrast between the sheets and the leaf were excellent....i'd give this more than a 10 if i could

The leaf metaphor is layered in deeper structures of sympathetic emotional meaning than just those connected to seasonal change. This is a phenominal poem! Rgds, Ivan

This is a good, melancholy poem. Lyric tone. It reminds me of Giovanni Pascoli, another Italian track for our Onelia, but it would be worth it.

I like this idea, your words work well the nature. The pathetic fallacy, I believe. Well done. HG: -) xx
