Just A Careless Memory Poem by Christopher Cariad

Just A Careless Memory

Once you get to know me
You'll forget me.
Just a careless memory
Thrown on the side of the road,
Never to be thought of again.
My life
To much to handle?
As I wait for someone to love me,
For the person I am.
That other part of me
That's able to heal all wounds.
Where's the fate in love
When my soulful other is not here with me?
For now my life is but, just a careless memory.
